We are looking for a Customer Service Team Leader, Documents to our international customer service team in De Lier, Grubbenvorst or Vantaa.

Within BA Global we are currently exporting our products from 6 different factories to 88 countries worldwide. Each country has its own unique import rules and regulations, therefor ensuring accurate and timely export documentation is a critical part of international trade. One of the key responsibilities of the Global Customer Service team is to support our customers by preparing the required shipping documents and ensuring they comply with the specific regulations of each destination country.

As a Team Leader documents in BA Global Customer Service, you will have an important role in this process. You will be responsible for the daily coordination of document management, improving processes, and managing projects to ensure efficiency and future compliance within the customer service function. The working language is mainly English, and you work closely with customers, agents, sales, logistics and operations.

Key responsibilities  

• Coordinating the daily operations of the global customer service documentation team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of shipping documents

• Optimizing customer service processes in close collaboration with Line Manager to ensure efficient workflows and utilization of Salesforce and other related tools

• Ensuring compliance of the shipping documentation

• Pro-actively identifying and resolving documentation related issues

• Collecting and sharing insights on market situations

• Participating and supporting daily customer service work

Main skills needed in the position:

• You are customer-focused and understand how to provide exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders

• You have experience in handling shipping documentation and a strong understanding of export procedures. You have an understanding of international trade and regulations 

• You possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills. You also have experience in managing day-to-day operations together with team.

• You have experience in project management, and proactive mindset in continuous improvements of processes.

• You have good IT skills and are ready to learn new things and systems.

• Your written and oral expression in English is fluent, and proficiency in Dutch, Finnish, and other languages (e.g., Swedish, German, French) is considered an advantage.

The person we are looking for has experience in international export operations, document handling and customer service. In addition, we value experience the use of ERP and / or CRM systems, and general knowledge of the international trade & logistics industry. The most important thing, however, is the willingness to develop and an enthusiastic attitude.
