For Business Area G&C Materials, we are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner.
The Supply Chain Planner is together with the current team members responsible for planning the supply of Peat moss and Coir raw materials to our production locations in the Netherlands and Germany or directly to our customers. You will be in close contact with S&OP, suppliers, customers, shipping companies and transporters. Supplies are delivered by sea vessels, sea containers, inland barges and trucks. An important part is scheduling and booking the sea vessels that transport our peat materials from the Baltic countries and Scandinavia to Germany and The Netherlands.
Coir related tasks
Organizing the import stream of sea containers from our suppliers based in Asia (India/Sri Lanka) to our external customers and local production sites. In order to coordinate all upcoming container shipments, it’s required to maintain daily contacts between different parties in the supply chain: suppliers, forwarders, customers and site managers.
Invoice handling of shipped Coir raw materials: directly after shipment of full container loads, our raw material suppliers are sending their connecting invoices which need to processed in D365 (posting) and Blue10 (payment).
For tracking & tracing purposes each container needs to be registered in our internal import planning.
Invoice handling forwarders: after arrival of the containers at several final destinations in Europe, our forwarders are sending over their invoices. These invoices need to processed in both D365 and Blue10 as well.
Deliveries directly to external customers need to be invoiced after receipt of the delivery notes.
Peat related tasks
Organize the vessel planning for internal and external deliveries to the production facilities in
Schiedam, Rotterdam, Papenburg (DE) or other harbors globally. Make a vessel planning for the Kekkilä-BVB Central peat deliveries based on the demand forecast provided by Kekkilä-BVB S&OP. Close communication with suppliers, ship owners, forwarders and Kekkilä-BVB procurement is needed.
Organize the vessel loading planning for external customers. Coordinate the loading planning for external customers with the customers and Neova Terra. The majority of external customers will arrange their own vessels, but it’s crucial that the internal and external vessel plannings are aligned to avoid congestion and/or capacity problems.
Manage the administrative process of the vessel planning:
Create purchase orders for the peat deliveries and logistics and process the related purchase invoices.
Create sales orders for peat deliveries and send the invoices to the customers, both to Kekkilä-BVB as well as external customers.
Sales invoice handling of the peat moss sales per truck from the Papenburg (DE) terminal.
Purchase invoice handling for the activities and services at the Papenburg (DE) terminal.

Requirements
Creating and facilitating optimal conditions to ensure the safe, high-quality, and efficient supply of raw materials. Given the quantity of products, customers, and the influence of the season, a high level of involvement in the processes is essential. By thinking ahead, taking initiative, and doing things systematically, control is maintained.
You will bring
A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree or demonstrate higher professional education work and thinking skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A positive attitude towards change
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships (internally and externally)
Experience with negotiation and cost-conscious working
The ability to prioritize effectively and make decisions under pressure
A proactive, hands-on work ethic
Experience with planning, organization, and potentially project management
Excellent IT skills; knowledge of automation is a plus
A commercial mindset and customer focus
A team-oriented approach and flexibility
Fluent Dutch and English; German is a plus
